He was born in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture in 1971. After attending Nada High School, he entered the Faculty of Education at Kyoto University in 1990, and graduated in 1995 with a degree in Educational Psychology. After working as a general manager at Recruit Co., Ltd, he was in charge of human resources in various industries including Open House Co., Ltd. and LIFENET INSURANCE COMPANY.
His approach to human resources management is characterized by the unique method which crosses “organization” and “human resources” with “psychology”.
In 2011, he established Human Resources Research Institute, Inc. and became the president of the company. Based on his experience of interviewing more than 20,000 job seekers as well as providing advice to the human resources departments of companies (the hiring side), he has published columns in various media outlets providing advice on activities for new graduates and mid-career job seekers (the applicant side).
