H-ONE Parts (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. Establishing Strong HR team

HR in company is responsible for many tasks and it is an important department for all companies in the world. Interestingly, there’s a frequently used phrase to describe ideal HR in Japan; “seme to mamori no jinji” (HR with offensive force and defensive force). As a matter of fact, many Japanese companies in Thailand are start emphasizing “seme” (offensive force, in other word, “strategic HR”).
H-ONE Parts (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. is a Japanese manufacturing company for automobile parts. In addition to training for managers, Asian Identity received an opportunity to support its’ HR yearly development plan. In June 2018, we kicked off the project with one workshop, targeting that HR team will establish team vision, mission, and annual development plan. In addition, we aimed a team engagement, so members can realize their importance to the HR team and to the company.
During this workshop, we led the participants to derive and clarify their ideas by using method, the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®. Facilitated by Ms. Thiranart Napapruekchart, Asian Identity’s senior consultant and certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, tables became filled with many colorful bricks and so did the participants’ discussions. Sometimes, it’s hard to describe what’s in our head by words. So, visualizing thoughts by combining bricks however our hands want to and putting own meaning to each brick enable us to share the ideas more easily and more fun.
After they shared their current feelings and thoughts, Ms. Thiranart guided them to construct an ideal image of their team. As a consulting firm, Asian Identity does not stop at here. Instead, we assist the participants to make it come true with their initiatives. With a clearer picture of where the participants are heading to and how they will go, they established a strong bonding to each other and each found a motivation in self development for themselves, for the team, and for the company.
As they gained motivation to start their journey of being stronger HR team, we’ll continue to support their growth. With passionate HR team, employees will be taken care well by HR for work well-being, strategical people development, and engagement.
