CEO Nakamura speaks at a seminar at the event hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok
29 Mar.2024Our CEO Jack Nakamura gave a seminar titled “Key Points of Human Resources Management Based on Thai Culture” at the “Gathering of New Members and Newly Appointed Employees” event hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok.
The content of the seminar was aimed at those who have just arrived at their new positions as expatriates in Japanese companies. The lecture covered the basics of cross-cultural management and cross-cultural communication in Thailand, as well as specific points on human resource management, while confirming the participants’ senses and ideas. Activities to express their own senses and thoughts, as well as exchanges of opinions among participants, helped the participants to gain various insights and learn from each other.
At the reception after the session, we received the following comments from the participants.
“I was able to have a structured explanation of the sense of discomfort and awareness of problems that I have been feeling for several months since I came to Thailand. I will make use of what I learned today and change the way I interact with Thai staff starting tomorrow.”
